Yeah I been googling..and reading but kinda scared to try certain things ya read...lol

This is the horse we brought here to mend and this poor baby seems to had a streak of bad luck...The bad part is  he has nosed my horses and it is highly contagious....Im thinking Holy CRAP all 7 of mine Huh??  Lord , please dont let my pasturebabies be affected...I hope mine are immune , surley as old and healthy as they are mine should be fine !!!

We didnt know he had them. They just started popping up on his pretty little white nose and BAM they took off....

I read he can outgrow them once he builds up immune to them and they last anywhere up to 9mths.....They just look sooooo gross !!

From what I've heard.. I believe that they eventually go away on their own?? not positive! I would go to the Chronicle of the Horse Forums and do a search for Warts, you don't have to be a member, and there is a lot of info on that forum.

I've heard that if your cattle get them you can pick them off put it in their feed..let em eat it and it'll go away..not sure if it works on horses.....or even cattle since I haven't tried it.

Letting them eat it has worked for 3 of the show steers my girls had over the years. They say that if they eat it the body will build up an imunity to it faster. I'm not sure if thats what did it or not but the warts went away. ( Fixin to try it on my grandson's show heifer she has 2 on her nose)
